Happy 71st birthday to our iconic Nollywood legend, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia 🍰🎉🥳✨🎈

A celebrated actor, comedian, and singer, he earned the Africa Movie Academy Awards “Best Actor in a Leading Role” in 2008 for his performance in Stronger Than Pain.

Born in Enugu State, he completed his early education in Nsukka before studying engineering at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, where his passion for acting began to take shape through stage and screen performances.

Since then, he has built a remarkable career, becoming one of Nollywood’s most beloved figures, known for his humor, originality, and unforgettable roles.

He has been married to his wife, Ngozi Nkem Owoh, since 1998. While he keeps his family life private, he is a devoted father. In June 2023, he experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of his two daughters.

Today, we celebrate not just his talent, but his strength, legacy, and lasting impact on the Nigerian film industry.
